Thanks to everyone who happens upon this little blog that is attempting to share some Missoula County Public Schools news. msw is for neighborhood schools preferably in a K-8 configuration, not assisting private schools, and believes in the 3 R's! About Me

missoula school watchdog
Hello Missoulians! In 2004 our family experienced a terrible event with the closure of 3 schools in our area. Since then I have been observing Missoula schools, more specifically, Missoula County Public Schools business. Much of what I've seen is not good. Granted there are some good things going on - but the actions coming out of the administration in the South Ave. and the 6th St. buildings are horrible and harming our children - Feel free to share your comments. Let's turn this thing around! Let's get a school back into all of our neighborhoods before we build new buildings! Right!? Let's reopen our closed schools! (Attended Lewis and Clark, Lincoln, Paxson, Cold Springs, Meadow Hill, and Lolo elementary schools and Sentinel High School in the '60's and 70's) In friendship and hoping to improve our Missoula schools - Jeanne
