MISSOULIAN EDITORIAL: MCPS one district improving its openness
msw has had an unfavorable experience with the MCPS person mentioned in the Missoulian editorial. At a MCPS forum for property issues I spoke with Hatton Litton. She was rude and downright NOT INTERESTED IN PROPER PUBLIC DECORUM AT ALL!!
Litton (not sure of spelling at the time of this writing) was warning msw that msw could not place a recording of her conversation with msw on any social media sites. Litton said to msw that msw must introduce itself (myself) and then ask for permission to place any of the video from the Flip cam on which msw was recording at the property meeting on a social site. msw then requested permission and LITTON SAID NO!!
Excuse the language - perhaps old-fashioned and kid-like - BUT WHAT A CREEP HATTON LITTON IS!!!
AND - MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL!! - THE MEETING WAS NOT, GET THAT, NOT EASY TO FIND ON THE DISTRICT WEBSITE. THE MEETING WAS NOT LISTED IN THAT DAY'S EVENTS. MSW HAD TO CALL THE SUPERINTENDENT'S OFFICE TO ASK WHERE MSW COULD FIND OUT ABOUT THE MEETING. THE SECRETARY HAD TO TAKE QUITE A LOT OF HER TIME FINDING IT!!!!
THE SECRETARY ALSO SAID THAT THERE IS NOT A PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR LOOKING OUT FOR MEETINGS BEING POSTED ON THE WEBSITE IN A TIMELY MANNER AND THAT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT IN HER JOB DESCRIPTION SHE WAS TRYING TO KEEP AN EYE ON MAKING SURE MEETINGS WERE POSTED CORRECTLY!!!
UNFORTUNATELY, MSW CANNOT AGREE WITH THE MISSOULIAN ON THIS ISSUE!!!

Hellgate boys claim state basketball championship a 2013 Missoulian article reporting on the Knights win - WITH MANY TRANSFERS!!
Click on the link below to read a Missoulian sports article reporting on the Hellgate basketball game in 2013. If one looks into the roster of the "Knights" one would find that many and maybe most of the players transferred in from other schools. Are the Missoula teams, and perhaps teams from other cities, really school teams or are they just high school AAU teams?

Names heard are: Baerlocher - sounds like Frenchtown or Florence area to msw, Mahlum - sounds like Frenchtown to msw, Tinkle - sounds like Big Sky to msw, etc. Get my drift. msw has heard that there are only THREE TRUE HELLGATE KNIGHTS ON THE TEAM THIS YEAR. HOW MANY WILL THERE BE NEXT YEAR??
